Joanne: Baltimore, MD, United States; I am a Textile artist specializing in quilt art.I am inspired by various resources and influences. My work has been displayed At James E. Lewis Museum at MSU, Frederick Douglass/Issac Meyer Maritime Museum. I have participated in round table discussions, demo at Walter's Art Gallery for Gee's Bend exhibit. My work has also been displayed in the Mermaid and Merwoman Black Folklore, in Charleston SiC. .Though that vision a book was created in which my quilt was displayed in it.
